Located on the Turkish Riviera, Antalya is Turkey’s biggest international sea resort. With shady, palm-lined boulevards; quaint, cobblestoned streets; ancient, wooden houses and the picturesque setting, the city proves to be one of the best tourist destinations Turkey has to offer.  

Picturesquely situated on steep cliffs overlooking the Gulf of Antalya, its beautiful Turquoise Coast features ancient cities, monuments, secluded bays, sandy beaches, beautiful forests, cliffs and waterfalls. Antalya serves as an incredible feast of nature and archaeology for all of its visitors with some of its main attractions including the buildings and elements of Lycia, Pamphylia, Ancient Greece, the Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire, Seljuks and the Ottoman Empire.  It was formerly known as Adalya and to medieval Europe as Satalia, the city is third in importance of Turkey’s Mediterranean ports, after Mersin and Iskenderun and is home to a population of more than 2 million people.  

The region has several famous golf courses which have hosted many International tournaments and with its year round sunny climate, golfing is a popular attraction.  It also plays hosts to winter training camps for many International football teams.  In the winter months, popular ski resorts can be reached within a one-hour drive, giving you time to sunbathe and ski in one day!
